Build it for yourself.
Sell it if you want to.
The plugin you made for your own record is already a product. Pook turns it into a signed installer under your own name, handles the licenses, and takes nothing from what you sell.

What publishing gives you
Everything between a plugin and a business.
01
Three ways to put it out there
Selling is one of them, not the only one. You can hand the file to another Pook user, release it free to the world, or sell it licensed under your own name — the same plugin either way.
- Send the file: it opens in their Pook, with a free trial built in
- Release it free: a standalone plugin that runs without Pook
- Sell it: signed, licensed and on sale under your own brand

They download an installer, not a repo
Pook builds your source into a real installer your customer double-clicks. It puts the plugin in their plug-in folders and it shows up in their DAW like anything else they own.
- VST3, AU and AAX out of a single build
- Signed and notarized before it reaches anyone
- Nothing for your customer to configure

Sell it from your own website
There is no Pook store to be listed in and no shelf to fight for. Your page, your checkout, your customers — and Pook takes nothing out of the sale.
- Keep 100% of every sale, no per-sale fees
- You own the customer relationship, not a marketplace
- Your own domain, your own pricing

No developer account, either platform
You don't need an Apple Developer membership, a Windows code-signing certificate, or a second machine to build on. Pook signs, notarizes and ships both platforms from the same source.
- macOS and Windows from one project
- Code signing and notarization handled for you
- No build machine, no certificates to renew

Your studio's branding, on all of it
White-label from top to bottom. Your name, your logo, your colors — on the plugin, the installer, the license email and the update notice. Pook never signs its name on your work.
- One design system across a whole range
- No "made with" badge anywhere
- Every plugin in the family reads as yours

Publishing, answered
A real plugin, not a project file. Pook builds your source into signed, notarized installers for macOS and Windows, carrying VST3, AU and AAX from a single build. Your customer downloads an installer with your name on it, runs it, and the plugin shows up in their DAW like anything else they bought.
Two things: a builder — Pook Fx, Pook Instrument or Pook Studio — to make the plugin, and a publisher plan to release it. Indie or Pro let you sell under your own brand and keep every sale. Sharing the raw file with another Pook user needs neither; putting out a single free standalone plugin needs Giveaway, which sits on top of a builder you already own.
Someone who buys your plugin unlocks it with their purchase email and a one-time code — no serial numbers or license files to keep track of. You connect your store (Gumroad, LemonSqueezy, Paddle or Stripe) and licenses are issued automatically on purchase. You set how many machines each license covers, and your customer can move it between their own machines themselves.
The publisher dashboard: your customers and what they bought, free licenses you issue yourself, trial length and machine limits, revoking a license for support or refunds, viewing and remotely deactivating machines, connecting your store, and pushing one-click updates to your whole customer base.
Fix it in your source and rebuild. Rebuilds and updates are unlimited on a publisher plan, and your customers get a one-click update prompt the next time they open the plugin — so the fix reaches everyone without you touching an installer.
There isn’t one. No commissions, no per-sale fees. You own your customers, your brand and every dollar you earn — Pook charges you for the plan, not for your sales.
They keep their plugins forever. When you cancel, Pook rebuilds each released plugin with an offline license and emails your existing customers a personal key they can use forever, on as many machines as they like — no server or Pook account needed. You simply can’t sell to new customers or issue new licenses until you’re back.
